Yep, you read that
right, a bona fide school picnic. Wheeee! You bring the eats, a
blanket, and a spunky beverage, and we'll provide the fun and...
a stocked ice cream truck! GASP!!! This is a free event, and we
hope to see everybody there. Siblings are invited!

"Friday Night
Freak-Out" - Oct. 3rd
NFCNS, 5-8 p.m.
And just what is
this "freak-out" business, you ask? It's a chance for couples to
get a few hours of sanity (date night, anyone?), while their
kiddos enjoy a night at NFCNS playing, wolfing down pizzas, and
watching a movie (TBD) on the big screen. Simply drop-off your
brood at school and hit the town, run errands, lay motionless in
your kitchen - whatever! We think both parents and the young'ns
will be, ahem, freaking out over the concept, no? The three-hour
event is open to current NFCNS students (ages 3 and up) and
siblings (10 and under). Freaking out is a family affair! Cost:
$20 for (1) NFCNS-enrolled child; $12 each sibling. NFCNS will
provide battle-hardened parent chaperons accompanied by a who's
who of babysitting all-stars. Pizza, movie, mayhem included.
Limit: 30 kiddos. RSVPs must be made in advance.

NFCNS Board of Directors
First Meeting is September 10th
Help shape the
direction of our school. Make a difference in the life of your
child – and the children yet to come. Become drunk with power!
Okay, scratch that last part. But seriously, the NFCNS Board is
looking for eager parents to join us. A host of positions
remain, ranging from event-planning to equipment, fundraising to
hospitality, library and carpool. Requires a three-year term,
with new positions offered every year. Meetings are 9 a.m. on
the first Wednesday of every month.
