Enrichment Programs:
Northfield Community Nursery School is offering a pair of
Enrichment Classes for kids currently enrolled in 5-Day classes.
Classes begin October 16th & 17th and run the length of the
school year. Classes are as follows:

Mini Olympians
This class meets in the school gym and includes stretching,
warm-ups, basic gymnastics skills (including balance beam and
bar), and gross motor activities involving jump ropes, hula
hoops, parachute, and more to develop skills. The curriculum is
designed to develop flexibility, strength, endurance,
coordination, and self-confidence. Class will be taught by Olga
Miklasz and an Assistant.
Cost for class: $375 (Oct. through May). Cost for class and
Lunch Bunch: $650. (Oct. through May).

Enriching
Experiences
This class is designed as an enriching experience for those
heading to Kindergarten. The curriculum incorporates lessons
from the Handwriting Without Tearsฎ (HWT) philosophy. HWT is a
proven success in making legible and fluent handwriting an easy
and automatic skill for all students. The curriculum utilizes
fun, entertaining, and educationally sound instructional methods
to teach handwriting to all students. This class will be taught
by Randy Orlove and an Assistant.
Cost for class: $325 (Oct. through May). Cost class and Lunch
Bunch: $575 (Oct. through May). Please note: This class
costs less than Mini Olympians because of fewer classes due to
school holidays.

Classes are open to
students with birthdays between 9/1/03 and 8/31/04. Students
MUST be enrolled in our current 5-Day class. There are 16 spots
open for each class. Students may register for one or both
classes, with or without Lunch Bunch. Enrollment will be on a
first-come, first-serve basis. We anticipate lots of interest
for these classes, so register early!
